disabled_by_defaultDue to increasing levels of AI scraping putting incredible strain on server resources but Cloudflare's under attack mode being a bit too heavy-handed to leave up 24/7, we're trying a new way to combat these attacks. By default, all traffic will be challenged but logged in users will bypass those challenges completely. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause as it was never our intention to try to force registration and you certainly still don't have to - passing one of those challenges should keep you in the clear for a half-hour otherwise.

I'm not sorry; I'm still screaming over Final Fantasy VII Revelation. Like Oh. My. God. The job system's back, there's apparently more skydiving than just over Midgar, that shot of Sephiroth carrying Cloud, Tifa talking about making Aerith proud, Vincent and Cid gameplay, freaking Galian Beast is just badass, Cloud talking to Aerith and Zack, AAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!

...

Hm? Oh, right, update.

Theoracle1185 continues to bring us a heaping helping of various Disney properties, as well as A Minecraft Story! OCL brings us some Final Fantasy XV and Spiderman, along with his usual cavalcade of random abandonware. Headless Kamikaze TV gives us some awesome Serious Sam rips (and I swear y'all come up with the weirdest usernames just to make me make the Psyduck face). Scrooge300 brought us some nice high quality sound from the Switch version of The Thousand Year Door, and KyoUnleashed gives us a mass of... (oh dear) Dragon Ball Gekishin Squadra sounds. What a mouthful.

Of course this is all in addition to all the other submissions that you users have given us in May. Just because you don't get a shout out, doesn't mean you're not awesome. Thank you all so much for all the hard work that you do.

This month's word of advice is more a rehash of the rules: we don't accept duplicate files in our submissions! Yes, I'm aware that it's only discouraged in other areas of the Resource, but there's a difference between an audio file and a few pixels... like a few MB difference in some cases. We're not made of infinite space here, so the areas where we can save space are fairly essential. So, it's a hard no on duplicate sound files. If you want to let users know that a certain sound is used in multiple places, include it in a .TXT file; text files are always welcome in every area of the Resource.

That said, thank you all so much for everything you do; it's because of you that the Resource continues to be an awesome place for video game assets. Remember to love yourself as much as you love others, and I'll see you all in July. ❤️

...

Okay, but the name Revelation is obviously a call out to the Book of Revelation, and with the way the Black Robes were reaching out-- GKH????

You can be patient and wait for approval like everyone else. It's not like you've been waiting years to have someone look at your submissions.

What? You do realize that you posted this comment on an update with nearly 3,300 approved submissions, all of which happened between the time this update was posted and the previous one, right? In what world is 3,000+ approvals dead?

How much our submissions? Seens like the part of sounds is dead and it is more focused on spriting.

Bravo. I was gonna try to attempt to do this as well but i was never satisfied with my results.
Huge props for finding a way to rip them! ╰(✿´⌣`✿)╯♡

The long awaited DKC sounds got added with this update too. Surprised those were never here until now. Took quite a while for me to rip them and honestly pretty satisfied with the result (DKC3 could see improvements but that one has poor documentation of sound IDs)
