Hey all, I'm not feeling that great, so I'm going to try and keep this update as brief as possible, though there is something I need to address as well. Bear with me, I'm sick and words are hard; if anything is unclear, feel free to pop in with a question.

First off, the usual shout outs to everyone that contributed this week. Members this week brought us sounds from the arcade edition of The King of Route 66, Def Jam: Fight for NY for the GameCube (I remember playing the demo of that when I worked at GameStop!), mobile's Mario Kart Tour, The Incredibles: When Danger Calls and Monster High: Skulltimate Secrets, both for PC. As always, thank you all for your hard work. You all are amazing in everything you do, and we wouldn't be here without you.

Alright, let's address the elephant in the room. You may recall a member named OCL that was in competition with Theoracle1185 for most uploads to the site. Unfortunately, he was too focused on quantity over quality, and became a good example of what happens when your uploads become more of a chore than they should be. The final straw was when he admitted he was just omitting files that came up as invalid on the Audio Analyzer in The Spriter's Toolkit, rather than actually fixing them. At that point, many of his submissions that had originally come up with issues had been accepted after edits, so who knows how many of those submissions were incomplete, and he was summarily banned.

Unfortunately, that wasn't the end for OCL. He has since been soliciting members to both update his old works as well as add his rips to the website. He may even have made his pitch to you for this. First of all, if you upload something that you yourself did not rip, that is considered theft and will earn you a warning or a ban, depending on the severity of the offense. Secondly, we banned OCL for a reason, and if I had had it my way, we would have purged everything he submitted from the website, since it's all suspect as being incomplete.

From now on, anyone submitting revisions to content OCL originally produced will require proof that you did the work yourself. The same is true if you're adding to games that he was the majority contributor to. I don't see this being a major issue, since a lot of his work was extremely obscure, but he did have a few Lego games that he worked on. The best way to send me proof is to contact me on our Discord, but my email is also enabled on here, so you can send me proof that way as well. I know this is extreme, but OCL is a problematic, and I want to make it very clear he is no longer welcome at TSR and its affiliated sites.
