i like the melody of Splash Hill Act 1
sonic 4 has some good music, its just that some of the music has trash/unfitting melodies

Yeah tbh I think this game is absolute trash... if you want to know why go watch Cybershell's video "Why Sonic 4 Sucks." Tbh Sonic Mania is the real Sonic 4, I wonder what will be Sonic 5 then if we get a sequel to Mania.

@White Darkness: Because Sega was hyping it up to be the next in the "Classic" series, and because of which had a lot to live up to -- people consider them "classic" for a reason. And then it turned out to quite literally be a port of what was originally a mobile-only game (there's a ferris wheel in the background of Casino Street that says "Sonic the Portable") with terrible synths in its soundtrack and physics that's awkward/broken as all heck... but those are only a few of its problems. And then they left the story incomplete by ending Episode 2 abruptly.
It wouldn't be until many years later that we ended up getting a "proper" Sonic the Hedgehog 4 -- Sonic Mania.

Why do people hate this game so much
i see it more as a celebration of the classic sonic games or ............smth like that
