1down is unused in the game, yes, despite being used in the credits. And I guess it's named like that because when you reverse it, it plays a minor key version of the 1up sound!
How about the star coin appearance on the HUD?
Oh, I realized and forgot about that sound in the credits.
Its used in the end credits for pressing anything with a W on it
Is 1down.wav an unused sound? I don't know where that sound is used.
