We have officially launched the new version of all of our sites! Click here to see the announcement on The Spriters Resource!

We've got a nice mix of sounds coming to you this month! You guys were rocking it with the submissions, and we even have some staff member contributions.

Since it's come up several times this month, I need to remind you all that we do not accept recordings of sound files. There are rare few exceptions, but overall we expect files to be ripped directly from the game they're coming from! If you ever have question about ripping files, don't be afraid to reach out and ask on our Discord; and remember that providing a file as a sample makes it more likely to get an answer to your question.

That said, it's time for this month's shout-outs! All the thanks and love go to: Ultimatedj719, Charles29, Voll, johnnie electronic, SomeoneHere, Husemana, Ericbruh, Conboiii, ToastShark, Shiruba, asahelix, AlexTo@dstoolBoi, JustDoIt2K2, GoldenBaki, blueberrymuffin, mystora, DarkSpyro46, CactusDaNnJr., Vortihypergon, FrisktheRookie, Feever1999, Random Talking Bush, Biggest_Chungus, OrderX, igorex04, 16-bit Globe, Yawackhary, BF10, fajnygosciu1234 (bacon hair), facelessnas_64, Sea Rover Sanguine, BillyBnMOfficial, hamdude, ValorWolf32, nonovplay, CrystalEclectus, ReyingRexer, skel39eek66, Silver_Vanargand, Gladimedes, Henchman800, Preston Ward Condra, Ss4gogeta0, ROB_SQUAD5, DZTVE, Subnetic, Silverfool64, Justgetmycatch, DogToon64, Rabbido, Puffy-the-Destroyer, and Noiser.

Thanks for another stellar month, and I'll see you all next time! ❤

EDIT: Future Skyla here to clarify what recordings are permissible at TSoR. Anything involving "sequenced" sounds (sounds generated from individual WAV samples) as well as sounds that are undiscoverable by the tools available at the time can be recorded. These recordings must be isolated, with no other additional sounds nor music in the background. The quality of these files will be subject to extra scrutiny, but as long as they sound like the source and are isolated, your submission should be accepted.

Okay, thank you all again, now back to your update from the past. ❤️

I think Sounds Resource is better with text mode unlike other resources, is it possible to make icon/text mode can be managed separately for each resources?

For games, you need to prefix your search with "g:" (so for this example, "g:Day of Reckoning"), then it'll take you to the game-specific page where you'll see it.

This...is going to take some time to get used to. Low key not a fan of the over usage of the green. Some of the search engine of looking up games seems a bit sketchy like I simply typed in "Day Of Reckoning" and it turns up no results and I have to manually look up the Letter W in the GameCube section to find it.
