Now it seems both the better rips + the original ZSNES sounds are here for some reason (check "grow" vs "powerup)

Oh I'm aware of that rule, but I don't see how it qualifies as music.

No, that could technically be considered a sound effect in this case.

That one is also music, and remember this is not "The Music Resource" this is "The Sounds Resource" best to remember that.

Which one is for the level ending iris zoom or is that not here?

@razuepic: This is "The Sounds Resource", not "The Music Resource". We will not host music for various (mostly legal) reasons.

Where's any of the music?

absolute classics

i'll see if anyone has submitted an updated version of this, the existence of multiple fireball sounds is a dead giveaway that this was recorded in ZSNES

What's the name of the sound which plays when the climb-able grate flips?

Somebody has to re-rip these sound effects from a direct rip, since these are the CD soundtrack rips.

it's missing the pre-death sound

Probably due to the quality of the sounds when they were moved to the .ZIP file, or the SNES has a really weird sound chip.

That's a really good question, my friend.

Why those sounds are low sometimes and other not?
