You might be referring to the grow sound. Try the powerup sound.

Isn't this missing a sound effect where a Bomb-omb explodes? Or is that from All-Stars?
Yeah, the mushroom sound isn't accurate.
Did someone mention MY SINGING MONSTERS?! Oh my Galvana, my friends and I absolutely LOVE that game series, and whenever we talk about it in public literally no one has a clue as to what we're yapping about. Nice to see someone that actually knows about the series and isn't questioning "What the heck is an Entbrat?"
