@SonicFanFromScratch Thank God somebody here has some actual common sense. Did the other users in this comment section take stupid pills or something? There are plenty of websites that have video game music readily available; no need to make a Music Resource. I salute you for actually having a brain.

Ok seriously, if you guys really want video game music, just search it up on YouTube and throw it into a YouTube to mp3 converter.

if they made a music resource, they would have to make a lawsuits resource afterwards

@uve36 That's too accurate.

welcome to sounds resource where people keep asking for music

@Super Mario 64 Beta Explorer Just a small correction, but the original Super Mario Bros. was released during 1985-1987. The version with that release year is the Super Mario All-Stars version for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System.

@Random Talking Bush: I never knew Gilvasunner got busted like that, but, well, have you asked nintendo if you could? It worked with super mario bros (1993), detective pikachu and super mario bros (2023)

i understand why music not allowed but arent the ripped sprites and other stuff also copyrighted

r.i.p gilvasunner

@Pauline: No, it's due to legal reasons.

@TheUserResource: https://www.vg-resource.com/thread-27829.html

And where is the music resource

Well, all I needed was the sound effects for an animation i'm making. I've found what i'm looking for in the sounds resource,

@Bromaster: That's what places like OCRemix and YouTube are for. I repeat -- this is The Sounds Resource, not The Music Resource.

@Random Talking Bush Yeah I guess you're right.

@Cart3r: Well, think about it this way -- having a section for "edited" sounds is kinda silly, and what would "custom" sounds even consist of? Sounds effects that are similar to but not quite the same as the ones from the games in question? Voice impersonations? It just doesn't work.

Wait so is there no Customs/Edited section for Sounds-Resource? Is there a reason for this or just because?
